Casa de Estrellas is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 1,300 square foot beautifully furnished villa with Sierra de la Giganta views located steps from the beach at the Loreto Bay community.

La Casa de Estrellas is in a beautiful one-bedroom home. Is in a fully secure development called Loreto Bay, right near the beach, it has 24 hour security. Casa de Estrellas is around 600 feet to the beach and about 500 feet from the community pool. Casa de Estrellas faces the west towards the mountains with a golf course and water view from the terrace. Exquisite details such as handcrafted Saltillo tile flooring, top of the line cabinetry with hand forged iron detailing, towel bars, artisan wooden French doors and windows, French doors open up to the interior courtyard from the dining and living room area. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms and living room and remote control air conditioning/heat are present throughout.

A 32 inch flat screen is in the living room area and a 27 inch flat screen TV's, clock radio and phone in the bedroom.

The upstairs terrace which covers the entire expanse of the downstairs living quarters contains: two lounge chairs for sunning, 2 daybeds, and 2 cushioned chairs for sunset cocktails and viewing of the expanse evening skies full of brilliant stars. Dining can be done around the clock with dining table and four chairs. Daytime use of the Saltillo tiled terrace can also provide sun protection under the large pergola.

Home includes a spotless kitchen with all appliances including fridge/freezer, microwave, stove/oven, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, cooking and eating utensils, cutlery, glassware, dishes, etc. The kitchen has a talavera tile bar that opens up to the dining room and living room. The dining area has a large table that seats 6. It is a great entertainment space. The villa also has a stacked washer and dryer.

Loreto is one of Mexico’s treasured secrets. Sitting peacefully on the shores of the Sea of Cortes, hidden beneath the Sierra de la Giganta Mountains, Loreto was the first Spanish settlement on the Baja California peninsula. It served as the capital of Las Californias from 1697 to 1777, and is the current seat of the municipality of Loreto in the Mexican State of Baja California Sur. Loreto is the heart of a natural paradise known as the Sea of Cortes considered by Jacques Cousteau as “The Aquarium of the World”.

Loreto Bay, which includes Danzante, Coronado, Montserrat, Santa Catalina and Del Carmen Islands, has been protected as a National Marine Park since June 2000. Because of its biological diversity ad geological peculiarities with varied ecosystems. It provides refuge for mother-of-pearl, starfish, sea urchins, fan coral, killer whales, blue whales, dolphins and sea lions. The coastline in and around Loreto is one of the richest and most varied in Baja.

The desert climate around Loreto is typical of Baja. Here, the dry heat is complimented with cool sea breezes that blow off the Sea of Cortes, making the climate agreeable all year round.
